Privacy Policy

Updated June 14, 2026
The short version
In short: we collect the minimum we need to run the games - your nickname or account, a few cookies for your session and language, and basic logs to keep the platform safe. Voice chat is live and never recorded. We don't sell your data, and we don't run ads. You can delete your account at any time.

What we collect

When you play as a guest, we collect almost nothing - just a session cookie and the nickname you chose. When you create an account, we add an email address and a secure password hash.

Decks and cards you create

Decks and cards you build with the editor are stored securely under your account so we can display them to you and the friends you invite.

Voice chat

Voice chat is live - it streams directly between the players in a room and is never recorded or stored on our servers.

Logs

  • IP address (kept for a short period to prevent spam and abuse)
  • Browser type and basic device info
  • Server error reports - these never include your password or your in-game messages

How we use it

We use your data to do three things: run the games you play, keep your account secure, and protect the platform from abuse. That's it.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We don't run advertising, and we don't build profiles to predict your behavior.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a small cookie to remember your language choice. If you check "Remember me," your session stays active for 90 days. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Third parties

Here is the short list of services that help us run TablePods:

  • OVH - our hosting provider (EU). Your data lives here.
  • Bunny.net - content delivery and network routing. It sees your IP briefly to route traffic efficiently.
  • Stripe - payment processor for our tips.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU (or anywhere with similar privacy laws), you have specific rights, and we respect them fully:

  • Export. You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correct. You can edit your account details in your settings, or email us for help.
  • Delete. Using the "Delete account" option in settings removes your personal data - email, password, and custom decks - within 30 days.
  • Object. If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please email us so we can help address them.

Data controller & contact

TablePods operates from the European Union. For any questions regarding your data, please reach out to Show email.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the date at the top. Minor corrections, like fixing typos, will be made without additional notification.
